I received a B.S. degree from Carnegie-Mellon University and a J.D. from the Washington College of Law at American University. I am a member of the DC Bar and the U.S. Tax Court. I have practiced as a tax accountant for over thirty-five years and pride myself on having excellent communication skills with all age groups.

I am a second-generation native Washingtonian. My wife, Ariane DuBois and I live in DC, just a few miles from the office, not far from where I grew up next to Rock Creek Park. We have two daughters: Grace, a Speech & Language Pathologist in Los Angeles and Caramai, who lives in DC and is the firm's Office Manager. My favorite pastimes include walking 18 holes of golf, swimming, photography, tai-chi, spending time with Ariane at our country cabin in Rappahannock County, VA and playing with our dog Dannie at Ft. Reno and the Battery Kemble "dog park".
